Overview
Memecake is a social NFT multi-chain marketplace that offers a wide range of customizable and innovative products reflecting personal expressions and unique styles. As part of the design process, I focused on delivering a seamless and dynamic user experience that captures the brand’s fun and modern appeal.Memecake is a creative platform offering a range of customizable and innovative products that reflect personal expressions and unique styles. The Challenge
Creating an engaging and responsive website that adapts to diverse devices while maintaining aesthetic consistency was crucial. Additionally, integrating dark and light themes required careful attention to contrast and legibility, ensuring that users could switch between modes without losing visual appeal or usability.
At that time (2022), the main competitors were Magic Eden, Rarible, OpenSea, and Foundation. The client wanted Memecake to stand out from these established platforms with a distinctive and unique style, setting it apart from the crowd. Achieving this required a careful balance of creativity and innovation while maintaining brand identity.Creating an engaging and responsive website that adapts to diverse devices while maintaining aesthetic consistency was crucial. My Process
I collaborated with Viilal on wireframing, ensuring a clear structure and intuitive flow. Once the wireframes were established, I focused on crafting visually appealing layouts that maintain brand consistency. The design process prioritized flexibility and responsiveness, with smooth transitions between light and dark themes. Iconography was carefully designed to enhance navigation and provide visual cues without overwhelming the user.

Wireframing was the foundational step where I worked closely with the team to structure the site’s navigation and overall flow. The wireframes provided a clear visual guide that ensured intuitive interactions and a structured user journey.
Visual Design
The design emphasized a modern and vibrant aesthetic with dynamic elements that resonate with NFT culture. The layouts were crafted to highlight user-generated content while maintaining brand consistency. The responsive design ensured seamless interaction across both web and mobile devices.
